No new COVID-19 cases reported in Vietnam on Wednesday morning

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam had no new COVID-19 cases to report on Wednesday, keeping the tally at 2,648, the Ministry of Health said. So far, 2,422 COVID-19 patients have recovered and 35 have died.

10 cities and provinces (Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Binh Duong, Hung Yen, Bac Giang, Gia Lai, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City) have gone 53 days with no new cases of community transmission. Hanoi has seen no new domestic transmissions in 50 days.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Vietnam had vaccinated approximately 54,000 people.
