No Vietnamese citizens in Afghanistan after repatriation of UN staffer: Embassy
(VOVWORLD) - There are currently no Vietnamese citizens remaining in Afghanistan, according to the Vietnamese Embassy for Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Earlier this month, the embassy coordinated with relevant agencies to bring a Vietnamese citizen who works for a United Nations agency in Afghanistan back home safely.
Following the Foreign Ministry’s instructions, the embassy posted a citizen protection notice on its official website and communicated with its contact persons in Afghanistan to gather information about Vietnamese citizens in the country as soon as it received first reports of possible Taliban advance on the capital city of Kabul.
