(VOVworld) – North Korea launched three surface-to-air missiles into waters off its east coast last week not one, as was initially reported by the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), a Seoul military official said Monday.

“North Korea fired three surface-to-air missiles from the South Hamgyong Province area," said the official, requesting anonymity. The official said the North fired two additional surface-to-air missiles, following the first launch at around 12:45 p.m on Friday.
