(VOVWORLD) - North Korea fired three ballistic missiles towards the sea off its east coast on Thursday, according to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The missiles were detected near the Sunan area and flew about 360 km, reaching an altitude of 90 km and a speed of Mach 5.
National Security Office Director Kim Sung-han held a meeting regarding the launch, the presidential spokesperson’s office said Thursday evening.
