North Korea threatens to return to Demilitarized Zone

(VOVWORLD) - The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a statement by the General Staff of the Korean People's Army saying that North Korea’s military is closely monitoring the situation as the inter-Korean relationship deteriorates.

The statement said North Korea’s military is ready to support any diplomatic solution proposed by the Party and State, and that North Korea will study “an action plan for the army to advance into zones demilitarized under the North-South agreement.”

South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Monday called on North Korea to find a breakthrough through dialogue and expressed regret that the expected progress hasn't been made in North Korea-US and inter-Korean relations.
