During a press conference in Hanoi on Friday, Director of the municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Van Chi said on display will be farm produce, handicraft and local specialties. Flowers, ornamental trees and food as well as cultural and arts show will also be introduced to visitors. As planned, a seminar to implement a government decree on facilitating production and consumption of agricultural products, honour individuals and organisations in recognition of their contributions to agricultural and rural development will be held next Saturday in Tay Ho district. Within the framework of the seminar, 50 stalls will introduce safe farm produce to visitors while another seminar will discuss technological transfer and popularise safe products of clear origins, and a ceremony will be held to sign cooperation agreements between individuals and organisations on production and consumption.
