Most US states other than Louisiana have completed primary elections to select party candidates for the upcoming general election. Louisiana voters went to the polls on Tuesday to cast their primary ballots and will cast ballots for the general election on December 10.

All 435 2-year seats in the House of Representatives and 35 of 100 6-year Senate seats are being contested in this election, which will also decide the governors of 36 states and three territories.

One day ahead of the 2022 midterm election, President Joe Biden made a final push for Democratic candidates in Maryland. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump supported Republican candidates in the Ohio election.
