Outstanding young people in 2021 honored
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised 19 young people for their contributions to the nation and community as well as their excellent performance in various areas at Saturday’s ceremony in Hanoi to announce winners of the 2021 Vietnam Outstanding Young Face Award.

The event marked the 91st founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU).
President Phuc said he hopes that all young people will be aware of their responsibility towards the nation and the awardees should work harder to become role models of Vietnamese youth.
He urged authorities at all levels to roll out mechanisms, policies and measures to encourage talents.
The 2021 Vietnam Outstanding Young Face Award honoured 19 young people selected from 138 candidates, including self-nominated persons.
