Ao dai or Long Dress Show took place on Monday April 9th, 2012

(VOVworld) – 35,000 visitors have already visited this year’s Hue Festival, more than half of them from overseas. The figures were released at a press briefing today/on Tuesday to evaluate the festival’s first 3 days. Its theme is ‘Cultural heritage with integration and development – a rendezvous of historic cities’. Ngo Hoa is Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and head of the Organizing Board 'I believe that our visitors have felt the bustling atmosphere of the 2012 Hue Festival. Hue people, the festival’s host, are very excited and realize that they must participate in the festival. Art programs held during the festival have been praised while public order in the city has been maintained'.

The three main sub-festivals were also held successfully. They were the opening ceremony, the Nam Giao Offering Ritual, and the Ao dai or Long Dress Fashion show.
