(VOVWORLD) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son on Friday handed over more than 130,000 USD to the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, donated by overseas Vietnamese to support the country’s COVID-19 fight and vaccine fund.

Addressing the ceremony, Minister Son said the sum was donated by the Vietnamese communities and businesses in China, Russia, the UK, Israel, Japan, Switzerland, Mozambique, Egypt, New Zealand, Ukraine, and Cambodia.
He appreciated the assistance which demonstrates Vietnamese people's solidarity, patriotism and the spirit of ‘the haves helping the have-nots.
