Overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs donate 21 houses to northwest provinces
(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam Fatherland Front on Wednesday received donations of 21 houses for poor households in Dien Bien and other northwestern provinces from representatives of the Overseas Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Association.

Presenting symbolic plaques worth more than 40,000 USD, Peter Hong, Chairman of the Association, said that the Association is well aware of its responsibility for forging national solidarity and has made positive contributions to the homeland.
He expressed his hopes that members of the Association will continue to have the opportunity to contribute more to the country, not only through volunteer activities, but also in introducing and consuming products and developing distribution channels for Vietnamese goods abroad.
According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7), it will launch a campaign to help build Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and the northwest region.
To date, 5,000 houses have been built and handed over to households in difficult circumstances thanks to heartfelt donations.
