Overseas Vietnamese in Thailand pay tribute to Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong

(VOVWORLD) - Overseas Vietnamese in Thailand have expressed their condolences over the passing of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Nguyen Van Hoa, who lives in Pathum Thani province, said General Secretary Trong once visited Thailand and helped develop the relationship between the two countries.

"Overseas Vietnamese in Thailand always turn their heart to the homeland and are grateful to the Party and the State, including Party leader Trong, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh.”

For Mr. Nguyen Van Thong, a representative of the Vietnamese Association in Bangkok and the vicinity, the passing of Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong is a great loss.

“On behalf of the Vietnamese Association in Bangkok and the vicinity, I would like to express my condolences at the passing of the Party General Secretary. His career and example will forever be a great source of inspiration and motivation for us to continue firmly on the path of national construction and defense,” said Thong.
