OVs in Poland support Vietnam’s fisheries resources surveillance and marine police forces

(VOVworld) – Representatives of Overseas Vietnamese in Poland on Tuesday presented 15,000 USD to Vietnam’s fisheries resources surveillance and marine police forces who are responsible for law enforcement in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and continental shelf.

They also donated 1,500 USD to a family in Da Nang whose fishing vessel was sunken by Chinese ships in May. Nguyen Van That, member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Poland, said: "Despite the economic recession, we are ready to support those on duty in the sea and islands".
