Pakistan claims to fulfill sanction obligations against JeM
(VOVWORLD) - Pakistan on Sunday said that Jaish-e-Mohammad, which claimed responsibility for the Pulwama terror attack, was banned in 2002 and Islamabad is fulfilling its obligations on sanctions as per the law.

At least 40 personnel from India’s Central Reserve Police Force were killed and five injured on Thursday in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir when a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) suicide bomber rammed a vehicle with explosives into their bus. Pakistan-based terror group JeM had claimed responsibility for the attack on the CRPF convoy.
India has speculated about Pakistan’s role in using terrorism as an instrument of state policy. Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson Mohammad Faisal rejected India’s allegation that Pakistan was behind the attack.
