(VOVWORLD) - Four-star flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Thursday announced its new air route linking Hanoi and Manila.

Beginning at the end of March, PAL will operate four weekly flights between the two destinations on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The Hanoi-Manila air route will supplement PAL’s eight weekly flights between Manila and HCMC.
At Wednesday’s reception for Ryan T Uy, PAL’s Vice President, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said the new route will enhance the friendship between Vietnam and the Philippines and boost bilateral trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.
Mr. Uy said PAL wants to help promote the image of Hanoi and Vietnam.
