(VOVWORLD) - Israel will soon launch a large-scale military campaign in the West Bank, said Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Riyad al-Maliki, special advisor to President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday.

The Foreign Minister warned that Israeli forces are increasing their presence in the West Bank, adding that the number of attacks on cities, villages, and refugee camps in the area is rising two, three, or even four times a day.
However, Palestinians will resist, stay, and fight for their presence and survival on their homeland, he noted, adding that Palestine is well-prepared for this situation.
The United Nations reported that the number of Palestinian structures demolished and confiscated by Israeli authorities in the West Bank has doubled since October 2023.
