During a working session in Hai Phong city on Wednesday, Mr. Trong praised the municipal development and underlined the need to create master plans and projects. The Party leader also stressed the importance of the fight against corruption: “We have just carried out an anti-corruption campaign. Our economy still grows remarkably, the society is stable, and Vietnam’s position has constantly been enhanced. So, our organization should be united and each person should be responsible.”

Party leader Trong noted that during the open-door process, Hai Phong should preserve its cultural identity in order to build a city of greenness, civilization, and modernity.

Later on Wednesday, Mr. Trong attended National Solidarity Day in Thuong Dien culture village, Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong city. He called on locals to stay united under the leadership of the Party and the management of the government, and study and work harder to build stronger, more democratic and equal country.
