(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong chaired the 6^th session of the Central Steering Committee for Corruption Prevention in Hanoi on Monday. He praised corruption prevention activities in 2014 but said that more breakthroughs are needed in the new year when Party congresses at all levels will be held: “Priority should continue to be given to institution building and legislation with guidance from the Party Politburo. Inspections and investigations should also be improved.”

The Party leader stressed the importance of asset declaration as a way to prevent corruption and agreed to review the 3-year performance of the steering committee next year.
