(VOVworld) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Thursday attended the Mumbai Business Forum in Mumbai, the largest city in India. He also met with the Governor of Maharashtra.
Earlier in New Delhi, Trong met with leaders of the National People’s Party, the Communist Party of India, and the Communist Party of India (Marxist).
At these meetings, leaders of the Indian parties spoke highly of Vietnam’s achievements during its renewal process. They agreed on guidelines for further fostering, expanding, and deepening the two countries’ relationship as well as increasing the exchange of delegations, information, and experience and the coordination among communist parties at international forums.
