Party leader pays tribute to Vietnam's Kings as Lunar New Year celebrations underway
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Friday offered incense in memory of Vietnamese Kings and talented people who rendered great services to the nation at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi.

The Party leader renewed the resolve to uphold Thang Long-Hanoi’s civilization and heroism and Vietnam’s values, consolidate national unity, and make Vietnam a powerful, democratic, and equitable country with wealthy people.
First built in the 11th century during the Ly dynasty, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel is a complex of historic imperial buildings located in the centre of Hanoi. It was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2010.
