Party leader, president visit former Party chief Do Muoi
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Tran Dai Quang visited former Party General Secretary Do Muoi in his own home on Friday.

Mr. Trong wished the former Party chief good health and long life. He reiterated determination of the Party and State to lead Vietnam in implementing resolutions of the 12th National Party Congress and to steer the country towards rapid, sustainable development and international integration with the motto “solidarity, stability, and development.”

The same day, visiting former Party leader Do Muoi, President Tran Dai Quang pledged to promote the glorious traditions of the Party and the nation. He expressed his belief that Vietnam will make full use of opportunities and overcome challenges to achieve socio-economic development goals for 2018 and the following years.
