(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Tia Banh in Hanoi on Saturday.

Mr. Trong said Vietnam values and prioritizes its traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Cambodia. He praised the outcomes of talks between the two defense ministers and called for increased cooperation to contribute to each country’s development. Deputy Prime Minister Tia Banh thanked the support provided by the Vietnamese Party, state, and people for Cambodia and said Cambodia’s Defense Ministry will continue cooperating with Vietnam’s Defense Ministry to implement signed agreements.
