In her address, the Vice President asked Soc Trang province to mobilize more resources, particularly tapping three national target programs on new rural development, sustainable poverty reduction and socio-economic development for 2021-2030 period, and the 15 billion USD aid package for socio-economic recovery and Resolution 120 to boost the local growth.

During the visit, the Vice President presented 14 charity houses and 750 Tet gifts to poor households and children in My Tu district.

The same day, a delegation led by the Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia paid Tet visits to poor workers and households in Tien Giang province. Mr. Nghia praised the local social programs and support for the poor and encouraged the local people to overcome difficulties to enjoy a happy Tet.
