Speaking at the event, Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Head of the Permanent Delegation of Vietnam to the UN, expressed his appreciation towards the Vietnamese experts for their meaningful and practical contributions to the UN, as well as their cooperation with the Delegation in many areas in the past time.

Highlighting Vietnam’s outstanding achievements in 2023, the Ambassador emphasized that amidst global challenges, diplomacy, including multilateral diplomacy and international integration, continues to be a bright spot that contributes positively to enhancing Vietnam’s prestige and position.

He expressed his hope that in the year of the dragon 2024, the Vietnamese experts, regardless of their positions and capacities, will continue to perform their role well and represent Vietnam’s intellect and identity at the UN, while maintaining a close relation with the Vietnamese Delegation, especially in effectively implementing UN programs and projects, achieving its sustainable development goals, community work, and relations with the host country.
