President Benigno Aquino said on Monday that there is no Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ) in this region and Philippine military and commercial aircraft will keep flying over the routes that they fly based on international law and the various agreements and treaties the Philippines has entered into.
Benigno Aquino said Manila will exercise and defend its rights in its exclusive economic zone. He also pointed out the disparate military power of the Philippines and China, adding that Beijing’s image will be damaged by its illegal acts in these waters.
