(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang, and Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang on Sunday attended a ceremony to upgrade Pleiku airport. In his address, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang, who is also Head of the Central Steering Committee for Central Highlands region highlighted the importance of airports in boosting the local economic development. He expressed his hope that the project on upgrading Pleiku airport will contribute to socio-economic development in the region. He urged the Ministry of Transport to assist relevant agencies and local authorities to effectively implement the project.
