Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc cut a ribbon to kick off the international exhibition on Industry 4.0.

Themed “Vision and Development Strategy in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, the event saw Government officials and nearly 1,800 representatives of localities, businesses and embassies in attendance.

PM Phuc cut a ribbon to kick off the international exhibition on Industry 4.0, with 50 booths of leading technology providers of state-of-the-art technology solutions such as computer integrated manufacturing (CIM), smart plants, nano technology, renewable energies, and blockchain.

Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh, who co-chaired the event with the Prime Minister, said maximizing the opportunities brought by Industry 4.0 will be a great challenge to many countries, including Vietnam. He added that Industry 4.0 will improve technology and production capacities and give a competitive edge in the global value chain.
