(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called for effective measures and a resolute will to implement the Party Politburo’s resolution on strengthening the development of the defense industry until 2030.

At a conference on the resolution in Hanoi on Monday, Mr. Chinh underscored the need to create consensus in action and determination of the Party, army, and people.
It’s necessary to improve the apparatus and reorganize core defense industry establishments towards establishing a defense industrial complex that is streamlined, efficient, and modern, said Mr. Chinh.
The Central Military Commission was asked to work closely with provincial and municipal Party Committees to continue disseminating the viewpoints, ideologies, objectives, tasks, and solutions set by the resolution to Party members, cadres, and soldiers.

Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang said Party Committees and organizations at all levels must organize sessions to study and implement the resolution and complete a legal framework that ensures the realization of the resolution will meet the set objectives.
