PM calls for more investment and cooperation from Japan’s Gunma prefecture
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the government and businesses of Japan’s Gunma prefecture will play an important role in deepening the friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.

Mr. Chinh was speaking during a discussion on Friday with the Governor and major businesses of Gunma prefecture as part of his trip to Japan to attend the Commemorative Summit for the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.
PM Chinh said the Vietnamese Government is committed to listening, supporting, and creating favorable conditions for foreign investors, including Japanese investors to operate effectively and sustainably in Vietnam.
He asked Gunma businesses to expand cooperation and investment in Vietnam, particularly in areas such as green economy, science and technology, and innovation.
The Prime Minister also suggested that Gunma prefecture continue to support Vietnam in training high-quality human resources for emerging industries and encourages collaboration between its businesses and universities with Vietnamese universities and research institutes in student exchanges and research.
