PM calls for more Japanese investment in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh underlined on Tuesday that Vietnam has a stable political environment, and its relationship with Japan is at its best ever.

Mr. Chinh made the statement at a conference in Tochigi prefecture on cooperation between Vietnamese and Japanese localities as part of his ongoing official visit to Japan.

He said he hopes that Tochigi and Japanese businesses will pour capital in Vietnam to help with a climate change response, healthcare capacity improvement, clean energy, green energy,and  the digital economy.

On this occasion, PM Chinh witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Vinh Phuc province and Tochigi prefecture.

RecevingTochigi Governor Fukuda Tomikazu on the same day, PM Chinh said that the Vietnamese government is willing to create all possible conditions for Tochigi’s enterprises to do business and invest successfully in Vietnam.

Governor Fukuda said that 22 enterprises from the prefecture are currently investing in Vietnam, adding that Tochigi wishes to intensify cooperation with more localities in Vietnam, and wants to receive more highly-skilled workers and technical apprentices from Vietnam.
