PM celebrates 30th anniversary of Ninh Thuan province’s re-establishment

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday morning attended the 30th anniversary of Ninh Thuan province’s re-establishment, April 1, and Ninh Thuan ‘s Liberation Day April 16.

Speaking at the celebration, he urged the province to continue to consolidate solidarity, fine-tune the government apparatus, promote administrative reform, digital transformation, drastically improve the investment and business environment, and enhance competitiveness.

Prime Minister Chinh asked Ninh Thuan to restructure its economy coupled with growth model reform, to ramp up infrastructure investment and development, especially strategic projects, health care, culture, education, transportation, climate change adaptation, and digital infrastructure. Agricultural economic development  should be combined with high-tech application, climate change adaptation and new rural building, he said, urging for greater efforts to make Ninh Thuan a major renewable energy center of the South Central Coast region and the country.

Mr. Chinh also requested Ninh Thuan to preserve and develop its culture imbued with the identity of the ethnic groups; great national unity, love for the motherland; and to create all conditions for the development of all ethnic groups. Ninh Thuan needs to strengthen national defense, maintains security, social order and safety, while improving the efficiency of foreign affairs and proactively and substantively integrating into the international community.

At the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the First-class Labor Order of the Party and State to the Party Committee, Administration and People of Ninh Thuan province for their outstanding achievements in renewable energy development, which contributes to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
