(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent congratulations to Duc Phuc after the singer won first prize at the international music contest Intervision 2025 in Moscow.

The PM praised Phuc for his outstanding effort and remarkable achievement, noting that this victory is a proud moment both for the artist and for Vietnamese contemporary music.
Duc Phuc’s song “Phu Dong Thien Vuong” was inspired by the poem “Tre Viet Nam” (Vietnamese bamboo). His soulful rendition conveyed a message of unity, resilience, and the nation’s aspiration to rise, which deeply impressed the international audience and judges.
PM Chinh said he hopes this victory will motivate Duc Phuc and other Vietnamese artists to continue nurturing their talents, pushing creative boundaries, and making contributions to Vietnamese music and culture. He encouraged them to bring Vietnamese cultural values to the global stage, and inspire the younger generation to devote themselves to creativity.
On Saturday evening, at the Live Arena Stadium in Moscow, Duc Phuc, representing Vietnam, won first place at Intervision 2025 – and an award of 360,000 USD – with an impressive fusion of pop, rap, and dubstep.
