PM inspects Long Thanh International Airport and road projects

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the construction site of two traffic routes connecting to Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway and Long Thanh International Airport, on Saturday in Dong Nai province.

The Prime Minister listened to a report on the project implementation and gave Lunar New Year's gifts to officials, engineers, and workers working on the construction site.

Inspecting Long Thanh International Airport, the Prime Minister required units to speed up progress, supplement machinery and equipment, increase subcontractors, and change construction methods to ensure that the project will be completed by December 31 this year.

Project acceptance, auditing and other tasks must be done simultaneously, PM Chinh said and requested Dong Nai province to meet with ministries and sectors to resolve problems of material supply and directly supply raw material mines to contractors and investors.

He emphasized that tasks must be assigned in the spirit of human resource, work, time, responsibility, and result clarity, plus strengthened regular inspection and supervision, avoidance of waste and negativity, and control of labor safety.

The Prime Minister assigned Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha to convene meetings of ministries and sectors to control progress and immediately resolve problems if any.

Also, on Saturday afternoon, Prime Minister Chinh inspected the Ring Road 3 project in Ho Chi Minh City and Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat Airport.
