PM meets voters in Can Tho city

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly (NA) deputies of Can Tho met voters in Thot Not district on Sunday to inform the outcomes of the 15th NA’s seventh session and listen to their opinions and aspirations.

PM Chinh praised the socio-economic development performance of Can Tho in first six months of this year and insisted that the city as the central urban area and the nucleus of the Mekong Delta region is being invested to develop the socio-economic infrastructure system and necessary conditions should be met for Can Tho to soon become a new growth engine of Vietnam. The PM requested Can Tho’s leaders to maximize efforts to achieve all set targets.

As part of his business trip in the Mekong Delta and on the occasion of the upcoming 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day July 27, Mr. Chinh visited a number of martyrs’ families in Thot Not district.
