PM meets with national security advisor of India

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and India should continue to work together to develop their bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at Wednesday’s reception in Hanoi for National Security Advisor of India Ajit Doval, who is in Vietnam to attend the funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Mr. Chinh said cooperation in science and technology, information and telecommunication, and digital technology has a strong potential.

Ajit Doval said Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was a wise leader respected internationally. He praised Trong’s contributions to strengthening Vietnam-India relations in his various positions, and said the Indian government attaches importance to the Vietnam-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and hopes to further deepen bilateral relations, especially in national defence and security and trade and investment.
