(VOVworld)- On Saturday, Prime Minister Nguyen tan Dung attended the 40^th founding anniversary of the 175 Military Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. In his address, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of improving professionalism of doctors in southern hospitals in order to reduce overloading at the 175 Military Hospital.

The Prime Minister said:“It’s important to focus on human resource training to improve professionalism of doctors in provincial and regional hospitals. Patients prefer hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City not because of their facilities but the quality of doctors. So, we need to transfer our technology to improve the quality of health care treatment”.

On the occasion, the Hospital was conferred with the Independence Order First Class. The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Orthopedic Trauma Institute at the hospital. Costing nearly 2.3 trillion VND, the institute will accommodate 500 beds and be completed by 2017.
