PM Nguyen Tan Dung meets the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance special advisor

(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung gave a reception in Hanoi yesterday for special advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance Tsutomo Takebe who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

He hailed the special advisor’s Vietnam visit to attend the Japan Festival in Ho Chi Minh and accelerate the implementation of the Vietnam-Japan University (VJU). The PM expressed his thanks for Tsutomu Takabe's contributions to the Vietnam-Japan relations. He said the Vietnamese government will work with the Japanese government to deepen bilateral ties in all sectors for the interest of their people.
Special advisor Tsutomo Takebe informed his host of the university’s enrollment plan from next year, saying that the school will have faculties in full with 6,000 students by 2020
The Japanese Government pledged a funding of up to 20 billion JPY to ensure the university’s operation.
