(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has reiterated the government’s commitment to greater efforts to complete the market economic institutions, push forward with administrative reform, strengthen national competitiveness and create favourable conditions for the private sector to develop strongly.

Speaking at the Vietnam Business Forum 2016 in Hanoi on Monday, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of building capacity for SMEs, promoting support industries, developing capital markets, and push on with clean and renewable energy, climate change and environmental protection. He called on Vietnamese businesses to participate more actively in economic restructuring by diversifying investment activities, and focusing on public-private-partnerships.

Mr. Phuc also stressed the important role of FDI enterprises
: “The Vietnamese government hopes that FDI businesses will continue to maintain their investment cooperation with Vietnam, trust Vietnam’s reforms, accelerate the transfer of advanced technology, and human resource training and the sharing of corporate governance experience. We also call on FDI companies to uphold their responsibility to society and join hands with Vietnam in protecting natural resources and the environment.”
Prime Minister Phuc said the Government would make all-out efforts to ensure that the Vietnamese business community can grow strongly in the domestic market and successfully rise up on the world stage.
