During separate meetings with representatives from Apple, Boeing, Google, and Siemens Healthineers, the PM reiterated his commitment to creating favorable conditions for US enterprises to operate effectively in Vietnam.
Representatives from the US firms described Vietnam as an important market and expressed their hope to expand business operations there. They asked the Vietnamese Government to continue to support them with regulations and policies.
PM Chinh also attended a luncheon with several major US investors, where he said Vietnam always rolls out a red carpet for foreign investors, including those from the US.
Vietnam will support investors by completing its socialist-oriented market economy institutions, developing infrastructure and human resources, pushing ahead with administrative reforms.
PM Chinh chaired a round-table talk on Thursday with academics from Harvard University, Columbia University, New York University and Yale University.
