PM requests completion of databases of sectors, levels in 2025
(VOVWORLD) -Databases are critical input and new resource, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said and requested the completion of databases of all sectors and levels in 2025, as he addressed the fourth meeting of the Government’s Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Project 6.

“AI, connection without database is not possible. There is only population database but no medical database, no agricultural database, no education database, no other industry database. Only database is not possible. This is an urgent issue that needs to be completed this October and this year,” according to the PM.
Prime Minister Chinh stated that the resolutions recently issued by the Politburo are all concerning science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, which he said must be applied to all activities.

The Prime Minister proposed accelerating digital infrastructure development and ensuring network and information security. He stressed the need to ensure funding and human resources to boost investment in science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and strategic infrastructure, prioritizing digital transformation projects serving the operation of two-tier local governments.
