PM urges Binh Duong to fully tap its potential to boost local development
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Thursday urged the leadership of Binh Duong province to effectively implement national policies while mobilizing all available resources and capitalizing on local strengths and opportunities to boost its growth.

Speaking at a meeting with the local authorities, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of accomplishing the Provincial Planning for 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050, accelerating public investment disbursement, particularly for key projects, further promote public-private partnerships and attract foreign direct investment (FDI) in high-tech with added values.

Prime Minister Chinh also advised the province to explore the establishment of duty-free and free trade zones in order to boost exports and attract more investment. He highlighted the need for regional connectivity, particularly with provinces in the southeastern region and neighborhood.
The Prime Minister recommended developing a modern industrial ecosystem, with a focus on the processing and supporting industries, alongside key service sectors such as e-commerce, finance, banking, logistics, and training for high-quality human resources. He also called for Binh Duong to take a leading role in social housing initiatives, creating opportunities for workers to purchase or rent affordable homes and ensuring social welfare and social security.
