PM urges Samsung to make Vietnam its strategic manufacturing hub
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged Samsung Vietnam to continue considering Vietnam its strategic manufacturing venue since the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement are enforced in the country.

At a meeting in Hanoi on Tuesday with Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, the Prime Minister said the Government will create favorable conditions for Korean investors including Samsung to stabilize their production and expand their investment in Vietnam. He said the Vietnamese government encourages and prioritizes projects with advanced, and clean technology, modern governance, high added values, and global production and supply chains.
Mr. Choi Joo Ho said he hopes Vietnam will continue to create conditions for Samsung to further contribute to the country’s economic growth.
