Politburo conclusion reaffirms overseas Vietnam as integral part of nation
(VOVWORLD) - Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son has described the Politburo’s recent conclusion on overseas Vietnamese affairs as being of paramount importance.

Minister Son told the media last week that the conclusion reiterates Vietnam’s consistent policy on reinforcing national unity, highlighting the overseas Vietnamese community being an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation.
"It also boosts overseas Vietnamese affairs and encourages overseas Vietnamese to contribute more to their homeland,” he said.
Minister Son said the conclusion consists of 6 groups of tasks and solutions including consolidating overseas Vietnamese’ trust and improving legislation to attract overseas Vietnamese to Vietnam.
“Overseas Vietnamese have donated more than 2 million USD and medical supplies to help fight COVID-19 in Vietnam, demonstrating their sentiments to the homeland,” he noted.
