President attends Dialogue with APEC Business Advisory Council members
(VOVWORLD) -President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and other APEC leaders on Friday had a dialogue session with members of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC). The dialogue is an annual activity held within the framework of the APEC Summit Week for leaders to listen to recommendations and have substantive exchanges with the business community in the Asia-Pacific region.

At the dialogue, President Phuc affirmed Vietnam’s support for a multilateral trading system based on principles and rules, with the WTO as the center.
Vietnam, an open economy, has signed and implemented 15 FTAs with more than 60 partners and has been working closely with APEC members to promote regional economic integration under the APEC Vision 2040, he said.
The President suggested ABAC continue to promote its active role in APEC for an Asia-Pacific region of peace, sustainable development and prosperity for all people.
