President meets voters in Ho Chi Minh City

(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang met with more than 400 voters in District 4 in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday. While noting that defending national sovereignty is the consistent policy of the Party and State, Sang stressed that peaceful measures based on international law should be used to deal with disputes. He said: "We will never give up international law, an important tool that the world had to struggle to achieve. We must unite, abide by international law and clarify all matters. This is the policy of the Party, State and all Vietnamese leaders, which is shared by ASEAN and the world. Disputes should be settled by peaceful means based on international law. Vietnam has finalized its own marine law."
