(VOVWORLD) - Binh Phuoc province held a ceremony to commemorate its 50th liberation anniversary and receive Labor Order, first class on Sunday.

Speaking at the event, President Luong Cuong said the 50th anniversary of Binh Phuoc’s liberation is a time to reflect on its heroic history and honor the martyrs who sacrificed for national liberation and reunification.
The President said this milestone serves as a reminder for all Vietnamese citizens, now and in the future, to better be aware of their role and responsibility in national innovation, development, and defense. The President urged Binh Phuoc to continue building on its heroic legacy, aligning its progress with the country’s broader development goals.

On this occasion, he presented the Labor Order, First Class to the Party Committee, government, and people of Binh Phuoc province in recognition of their achievements.
Earlier the same day, President Luong Cuong paid tribute at the Phu Rieng Do National Historical Site in Thuan Phu commune, Dong Phu district, where the first Indochinese Communist Party cell in Phu Rieng was established.
