(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang has praised the role played by young people in national defence, construction and development.

He was speaking in a meeting with 85 outstanding youths who would be honoured with the Ly Tu Trong Award by the Youth Union in Hanoi on Friday in coincidence with the 85^th founding anniversary of the Youth Union. The President urged them to carry forward their talent and enthusiasm in studying, as well as in youth-union-related activities: “Youth Union should draw lessons from its activities and try to duplicate role models of the 85 outstanding youth union members. This will help us address current issues and contribute more to national development.”
