(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and the Vietnamese delegation arrived in the Philippines on Tuesday for the 2014 World Economic Forum on East Asia and a working visit to the Philippines.

Prime Minister Dung laid a floral wreath at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument at ASEAN Park in the capital Manila. President Benigno Aquino will host a reception for the Vietnamese government leader at the Presidential Palace.

They will hold talks on measures to boost cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas set out in their 2011-2016 Action Program, which include trade, rice exports, electronic devices, farm produce, education, culture, sports, and tourism. The two leaders will also discuss regional and global issues of mutual concern, especially the East Sea situation.
