Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung attends COP 21, visits Belgium, EU
(VOVworld)- On Sunday, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung left Hanoi for the 21st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) in Paris at the invitation of French President Francois Hollande. He will visit Belgium and the EU at the invitations of Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and EC President Jean Claude Junker.

The COP21- one of the largest global conferences this year- is expected to draw roughly 40,000 delegates from governments, intergovernmental organisations, UN agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) across the globe.
Vietnam’s participation at the COP 21 demonstrates the Vietnamese government’s strong commitments to joining international efforts to cope with climate change. During his visits to Belgium and the EU, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will discuss ways to boost bilateral cooperation in various areas.
