(VOVworld) - Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) PetroVietnam launched the gas pipeline project for Block B – O Mon today on Sunday in Kien Giang province.

Attending the ceremony was Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.  The gas pipeline for Block B – O Mon is a key project of Vietnam Oil and Gas industry. The project’s objective is to transport natural gas from Block B to supply for electricity plants in O Mon Electricity Center in Can Tho city to meet the demand of electricity usage of the Southern region in of the year of 2020 as well as mentioning the national energy security.
